They didn't want their wedding to feel like a photoshoot. They wanted it to feel like a weekend spent with the people they love. A celebration where everyone could be present, where conversations lasted a little longer, laughter happened naturally, and the camera simply became part of the background.
From the welcome party through the wedding day at Keystone Ranch Golf Course in Colorado, that trust shaped everything. Aside from a brief 15 to 30 minutes we spent creating portraits together, the entire weekend was documented as it naturally unfolded. No constant interruptions. No pulling people away from the celebration. Just real moments, genuine connections, and the story of the weekend exactly as it happened.
One moment that perfectly summed up the day came when Joe told me he didn't want formal portraits. He wanted to be with his family and friends. That trust allowed us to photograph the day the way it was meant to be experienced. Quietly observing, anticipating moments, and preserving memories they didn't have to stop living in order to have.
When it came time for portraits, Hannah and Joe gave us their complete trust. In just a few minutes together, we created images that felt true to who they are while allowing them to spend nearly every other moment doing what mattered most: celebrating with the people they had gathered from all over to be there.
